 Property For Sale Antibes

Antibes marinaAntibes’ pleasant Mediterranean climate is sure to please your senses as you view local real estate opportunities and enjoy the local cuisine.  While it may be challenging to bicycle the many trails and byways stretching over the hilly terrain, you can walk anywhere in Antibes with ease.

Nowhere else in Europe will you find more amenities and services for taking care of your yacht, and the nearby waters provide excellent sailing conditions.

August Wallpaper CalendarAlso, Antibes has no shortage of culture; it is one of the premier cultural districts of the French Riviera.  It is famous for its many and varied museums.  One museum holds the largest Picasso collection on earth.

Its famous archeology museum contains artifacts drawn from all over the world over sea and land–from the gold of the Incas to Chinese Buddhas.

A Napoleonic naval museum guards some extreme rare relics originally owned by Napoleon himself–from his clothing to his portraits.

You can also find specialty museums catering to tourists.

antibes (2005) - 41Check out the services in the local harbors too; you can pay a fisherman to take you around the coastline for a day or perhaps charter a cruise vessel for an extended reverie.

While it sometimes storms in the Mediterranean, it is protected from the largest waves, and these days pirates are almost unknown in this part of the world.  Europe’s largest yachting harbor, Port Vauban, is found in

Antibes; it’s a great place to moor your yacht.  You can also find a wide variety of shipping supplies, from cords to diesel to coffee, at nearby stores.

The Antibesian beaches are not to be missed either.  Miles of prime sea front real estate stretch along the coast near Antibes, and the nearby ports can provide you with a safe harbor for your private yacht.

If you find yourself saturated with culture and bored with the excellent selection of fine designer garments and accessories, you can always jump on a train to see more of the French countryside.

The nearby cities of Nice and Cannes invite the adventurous.

You can also link up with the routes into Paris, where millions of people and opportunities await.  There’s no need to stay in France either; the entire European Union will be your oyster as you live or vacation in Antibes.  The Italian countryside is just a short drive away.

In January you can see the Antibes Sacred Art Festival.  You’ll see the finest paintings of religious figures–from Jesus and the Apostles to the Saints, as well as modern day figures including popes and Bishops.

If you plan to visit Antibes, be sure to contact the tourist information bureau office in Place Charles de Gaulle.  And if you decide to live there, make sure you stock up on groceries over the weekend; the local market is closed on Mondays.

With so many amenities for visitors and residents alike, it is no wonder that more and more people are moving to Antibes.

Prime culture, excellent harbors, and fantastic modern spaces all make Antibes a fantastic place not only to visit but also to own your own home.
